Questions and answers
How do I convert MP4 to GIF?
Drop your MP4 on this page, set the start time and length under Options, then press Convert. You get a looping GIF of up to 15 seconds.
Will I lose quality?
GIF has only 256 colours, so smooth gradients can look banded. Convurx makes a colour palette for each clip, and you can set the width and frame rate under Options.
Can I convert several files at once?
Yes. Several files download together as a ZIP. Each file counts as one conversion, so three files use three of your free conversions.
Why does it take a while?
Your own device converts the video, with no server, and the converter is about 30 MB to download the first time. Phones are slower than computers, so short clips work best.
